Trocadero c1938
Available as "Parfum Cologne", often paired with Max Factor's other perfume Cocoanut Grove and sold in a gift set for $2.00, otherwise sold singly for $1.00 a bottle.
So what does it smell like? I have no notes on this composition, but early ads describe it as lilting, so I imagine it was probably a light, floral aldehyde perfume, with some citrus top notes.
Discontinued, date unknown. Still being sold in 1946.

Available as "Parfum Cologne", often paired with Max Factor's other perfume Trocadero and sold in a gift set for $2.00, otherwise sold singly for $1.00 a bottle.
So what does it smell like? It has a heavy woody note with undertone reminding of mushrooms.
- Top notes:
- Middle notes: gardenia, chocolate, cepes
- Base notes: woodsy notes, sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver, oakmoss, cedar
Discontinued, date unknown. Still being sold in 1946.
