Aquarius by Max Factor c1969

Aquarius by Max Factor: launched in 1969.



Fragrance Composition:


So what does it smell like? It is classified as a floral mossy animalic chypre fragrance for women. It starts off with a spicy and aldehydic top, followed by a narcotic floral heart, resting on a warm, woody, leathery base.
  • Top notes: Italian bergamot, aldehydes, cardamom, Italian lemon
  • Middle notes: Egyptian jasmine, orris, ylang ylang, lily of the valley
  • Base notes: Mediterranean oakmoss, leather, benzoin, Ethiopian myrrh, patchouli, vetiver

Fate of the Fragrance:


Discontinued, date unknown.
