Trocadero c1938

Trocadero by Max Factor: launched in 1938. Named after the Trocadero nightclub. This perfume was made to be sold exclusively at Hollywood’s most famous night clubs.

Available as "Parfum Cologne", often paired with Max Factor's other perfume Cocoanut Grove and sold in a gift set for $2.00, otherwise sold singly for $1.00 a bottle.

So what does it smell like? I have no notes on this composition, but early ads describe it as lilting, so I imagine it was probably a light, floral aldehyde perfume, with some citrus top notes.

Discontinued, date unknown. Still being sold in 1946.
